VISIT. WORK. STUDY. JOIN FAMILY. SETTLE.
Different plans require different permissions. Start by understanding which route may fit your circumstances and what you need to prepare.
Which UK immigration route is right for me?
Your options depend on your nationality, reason for coming to the UK, personal circumstances and immigration history. We can help you understand the relevant requirements and whether we can assist with your application.
Do I need an ETA or a visa for a short visit?
This depends on your nationality, immigration status and planned activities. An ETA is permission to travel, not a visa, and does not guarantee entry. Check the official requirements before booking or applying.
Can an ETA be used to move to the UK or take a job?
An ETA is not a route to settlement or a substitute for a work visa. If your plans involve moving to the UK or employment, you need to check the immigration permission appropriate to those plans.
Do I need a job offer for a UK work visa?
For the Skilled Worker route, you need a qualifying job with an approved sponsor and must meet the applicable requirements. Other work routes have different conditions. Immigration advice does not provide a job offer or guarantee sponsorship.
Can a visa lead to settlement or British citizenship?
Some routes may lead to settlement if the relevant conditions are met. Citizenship is a separate application with its own requirements. Neither outcome follows automatically from receiving a visa.
How long will my application take?
Times vary by application type and individual circumstances. UK authorities control processing and decisions. We cannot guarantee approval or a decision by a particular date.
WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS AFTER STUDYING IN THE UK?
Depending on your course and circumstances, you may be eligible for a Graduate visa or another route, such as Skilled Worker. We can help you understand the relevant requirements and plan your next steps before your current permission expires.
CAN I EXTEND MY CURRENT VISA OR SWITCH TO ANOTHER ROUTE?
This depends on your current immigration status and the route you want to apply for. Not all visas can be extended or allow switching from within the UK. We can help you review your circumstances, the relevant requirements and application timing.
